ノルウェーのベルゲンを拠点とするリソグラフ＆出版スタジオ Pamflett と、東京のリソスタジオ Hand Saw Press のコラボレーションとして、ノルウェーのアーティストAurora Solberg（オーロラ・ソールバーグ）のイラストレーションブックを出版します。 「The woods we live in (私たちが生きる森）」はAuroraの水彩の原画をリソグラフで印刷したとても美しいイラストレーションブックです。昨年Pamflettから出版され、ノルウェーではすぐにSOLD OUTとなった話題の本を日本で再販されることになりました。 Pamflett, a risograph and publishing studio based in Bergen, Norway, and Hand Saw Press, a risograph studio in Tokyo, are collaborating to publish an illustration book by Norwegian artist Aurora Solberg. “The woods we live in” is a stunning illustration book featuring Aurora’s original watercolor artwork printed via risograph. Originally published by Pamflett last year and quickly sold out in Norway, this highly acclaimed book is now being re-released in Japan. Aurora Solberg(オーロラ・ソールバーグ) ノルウェーを拠点に活動するヴィジュアル・アーティスト。色彩、素材、構図の探求を主なテーマとして、さまざまな形式の水彩画を制作。 主に紙に水彩で描かれる作品やプロジェクトは、継続的に展開しているシリーズ《Biotop（ビオトープ）》から派生しています。このシリーズでは、想像上の風景を通して、自然に対する彼女自身の感覚を瞑想的に表現。2018年に日本へ旅してから日本画の素材や技法にも強く影響を受けており、その要素が作品にも反映されています。 Aurora Solberg A visual artist based in Norway. Her work primarily explores color, materials, and composition, and she creates watercolor paintings in various formats. Her works and projects, primarily watercolors on paper, stem from her ongoing series *Biotop*. In this series, she meditatively expresses her own sensibilities toward nature through imaginary landscapes. Since traveling to Japan in 2018, she has been strongly influenced by the materials and techniques of Japanese painting, and these elements are reflected in her work.
